Firefox does not load pages

For nearly a week now I have been forced to use IExplorer as Firefox will not load any websites. It is not an internet connection issue because IE works fine. The Firefox browser opens up but only to reveal a blank, white page. Even when I go to type in other web addresses firefox simply refuses to load them and remains at this blank white page Page 1 of 3 - IE/Firefox does not load some web pages - posted in Browsers, Internet and email: Gurus, I have been having this issue for quite some time now. I am unable to load some websites in either IE or FireFox. I have two systems one with Windows XP and the other with Windows Vista. The problem is identical on both machines. I reinstalled windows, shut off firewall still not working. I can't access banking, hotmail inbox. any ideas thanks

I am using Ubuntu/Firefox for several years. Now some pages do not load completery, progress icon moves permanently. Examples: "pCloud.com" "facebook.com" "Webmin/File Manager" and others Other pages of those websites load normally. I tried restart with plugins disables but nothing changed. Same webpages load okay with Chrome. about:config
