May 16, 2019 · Same problem here. Can't ping the default gateway on a wireless connection. I have unplugged and plugged back in, restarted the device, reset the IP, checked for congestion, checked the channels. I've also reset connection settings on my laptop, reset my laptop, checked network info in laptop settings. This has been going on for over a month. Sep 05, 2012 · It just sounds like something doesn't have a default gateway configured, or maybe wrong gateway. That would keep it from pinging or returning ping between the subnets. The other option is that somewhere there is a 192.168.x.y with a 16 bit mask (or even a 23 bit mask in this case) so it expects broadcast to find the other device so it doesn't
